Austin Community College Office of College Relations & Marketing (OCRM) is responsible for creating and designing the graphics and marketing materials for the community college district, as well as for any clients — other departments within the college.
Challenge: To design marketing graphics for ACC’s OCRM as well as for any clients within the college district, supporting client design briefs while adhering to the college’s brand guidelines.
Scope: Concept, design, copy, layout for multiple platforms
How It’s Made: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Figma
Each semester, ACC hosts a foster + adopt for the animals cared for by students in the Veterinary Technology program. For this campaign, I worked with ACC’s photographer who captured all of the cats and dogs of the semester’s VetTech program, to create a photo-forward design to be used across all media platforms - including large TV screens in the hallways of the college, Facebook, X, and ACC’s website.
ACC Yellow was used for the spring break foster campaign, while the brighter ACC Lime was used for the overall adopt campaign to catch students’ attention again.

For Earth Week, I met with the Sustainability Manager from ACC’s Office of Energy & Sustainability to learn about their needs for the event. For a more “natural” feel, I used a layered kraft paper effect as well as a layered leaf motif. Artifacts included digital marketing graphics, a social media frame that other departments could use to highlight their Earth Week activities, and several print designs for departments to write on including a sandwich board “event today” poster for wayfinding.

For the Foster Care Luggage Drive, I wanted to focus on highlighting diversity without including any imagery of people so as not to suggest any specific type of person might be experiencing foster care. To achieve this, I played with size and color (within brand guidelines) to show an array of suitcases. This campaign required both digital and print design.
